One year ago on September 7, 2012, eighteen American relatives joined sixty of our Polish relatives for the 100 year anniversary of my grandfather, Walenty Pienkos, arriving in America. We had a fabulous party in Rzeszow, Poland, the beautiful Polish city where my Dziadzia was born. I am so proud of my Polish ancestry and forever grateful to all of my four grandparents who came from Poland to start a new life in America. My Dziadzia, Walenty, my Busia, Francesca, as well as my Dziadzia, Jozef, and Busia, Ewa, are giants in my life. I also send my love to all of my relatives in Poland, as well as here in the United States. To all of you: STO LAT! "May you live 100 years...and more!"
