Only a single mother with several children, trying to make ends meet can relate to another single mother with several children, trying to make ends meet. In the meantime, the rest of us can only look on and probably use this situation as a textbook in dealing with those in our care. I am not sure how I would react if Zari takes some pics showing her underwear, in her uniform with other friend(s). I am not sure how I would feel if she, at 12 years, was asking boys for their phone number, sneaking away to go to the mall to meet them or asking them the size of their private parts. Perhaps my frustration and disappointment would be more if I tried discussing issues, taking away privileges and banning activities - and the behaviour persists. All I know is that I would be doing my child a greater dis-service if I allow it to continue without addressing it in some way.
