Ooooooh wheeeee! Felt that earthquake just now! It was subtle but lasted long - and long enough to have you wonder if it was about to escalate (thankfully not). I never want to be in an earthquake like the one in 1994 when I lived in the Valley not far from the epicenter. At that time, literally everything in my place was trashed (and it shook so hard I thought for sure the building was going down-and I was on the top floor!). The TV leapt from the wall to halfway across the living room. Every glass and plate flew out of the cupboards and crashed on the kitchen floor. The fridge flew from the wall to the other side of the kitchen. You name it, it fell and broke. Thankfully I was alright and so were the people I loved. Even more thankfully, I had just intuitively gotten earthquake insurance 2 months prior to that earthquake so that I actually was able to replace everything with all new stuff. Whew. Memories I never want to relive. And lets hope the earth is shaking right now to loosen up so that we dont have one big violent one but rather a series of little ones.
