Operation:Tails For Troops Event Marywood University students partnered with Abington Community parks will be endeavoring to raise money for the non-profit Paws and Stripes. Their goal is to raise $5000 to sponsor 2 wounded military vets with post traumatic stress disorder or traumatic brain injury and to rescue 2 shelter dogs. It will be held at Abington Dog Park in Clarks Summit on Sun. afternoon April 13th from 1-4 PM. So mark your calendars, rain or shine, there will be tents. There will be local vendors, homemade dog treats, basket & 50/50 raffles, dog trainers, local shelter pups for adoption and more. Also yours truly will have a table there talking about animal (and people) chiropractic and to help support the cause. You dont need to bring your dog to support the cause, or even have a dog for that matter.....unless of course you leave with an adopted one! Stop by, say hello and support our military.
