Opportunity for full-time pet groomer - East Nashville is one of my largest service areas! Experienced, self-directed, and responsible pet groomer wanted for full-time contract position with a growing mobile grooming operation based in Smyrna. After an initiation period, the right candidate may have the option of storing the mobile grooming unit at their home if appropriate accommodation is available. Full-time means 4 days a week, Saturdays required, 6-8 pets a day with drive time between. Days average 8-10 hours. Compensation is 40% of gross, averaging $100-$150 per day, plus tips. At least one year experience with an established grooming shop or mobile grooming operation required. Bathing AND grooming experience required. All tools, equipment, and supplies will be provided. Must have current, unrestricted drivers license. Must be able to handle pets with special needs. Must be physically fit and able to lift 70 pounds unassisted. Ability to handle/manage a trailer while driving is a plus. Ability to groom cats is a plus. Orientation ride will be required. Position starts immediately.
