Ord. Wk 29th. Thursday, 24 October 2013 Loving God Totally: In today’s Gospel, Jesus affirms that our love for God must be deeper than any relationships and other loves we have in our lives. God must have our best, total and unconditional attention and love. Through such love we will become more wholesome, joyous and selflessly fulfilled daily. Msgr Philip Heng, S.J. Lk 12:49-53 Gospel Jesus said to his disciples: ‘I have come to bring fire to the earth, and how I wish it were blazing already! There is a baptism I must still receive, and what constraint I am under until it is completed! ‘Do you suppose that I am here to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division.
