Our Good News Story of the Day is… Burning Love. A local family was preparing to experience a Christmas without presents this year after their restaurant, Villa Dianna, recently burned down. But thanks to the Briaroaks Volunteer Fire Department, that’s won’t be the case. Many of the firefighters who responded to the blaze, frequently ate at the restaurant, which had been there for 10 years. So they were personal touched by the family’s loss and decided to do something about it. They collected presents, money, canned goods and frozen food to make sure the Hodza family, who once fed them, would have plenty of food to eat and Christmas gifts around their tree.
