Our Happy New Year UPDATE on our ADOPTED pair of Sphynx girls - Shivas (Now Kenzie) & Bhindi (Now Hunter). May all your transformations be as bright! Their new family write the following: The two newest members of our family came to us a couple of days before Halloween. It wasnt a trick, but the BEST treat ever! Although they were both very loving from the get go, there was a tiny bit of apprehension... I guess they just wanted to know they were home for good. Once they settled in a few days later, there was no question, they both had us all wrapped around their paws. Kenzie, who at first wanted only to cuddle on our laps, under blankets, has turned into a mischievous minx. She loves to jump on her sister Hunter as soon as she has fallen asleep in order to have epic play fights, and tends to leap onto our shoulders when our backs are turned to her. Hunter on the other hand, seems to be the ever-patient, indulgent mature sister, joining in the fun despite wanting nothing more than to curl up into her heated throw and get some much earned shuteye. Other than being spoiled with love, they have been given all kinds of toys. Funny enough, Kenzies prized possession is a box that she has claimed as her castle. Hunter knows enough to never enter the castle. She will chase Kenzie into it at times, but never set foot in it. And Hunter? Its her baby, Baby. A little stuffed bunny head that was attached to a pair of jeans one of us bought. If Hunter misplaces Baby, we are all on hands and knees, looking under couches, tables, the entertainment centre... No one rests, until Hunter is reunited with Baby. Having Kenzie and Hunter in our lives has transformed us all. Myself and three daughters, my mother (their grandmother), my sister, friends...
