Our Middle Schoolers SEW for SOS pillow project made the national NBC News website today! Reporter Karla Redditte NBC 12 first shared the story last week on our local NBC affiliate, Channel 12. Middle School librarian Carolyn LaMontagne, who has supervised the volunteer project during the students lunchtime, says requests for the positive pillows are pouring in from around the U.S. as a result of the national coverage. Congrats, Luke Tyson, Deven Pandya and other 5th-7th Graders who continue to donate time and effort to this project! Some are planning to come in this week and next - even with school out of session - to fill the orders.
