Our Pet Food Bank is a vital service for our community, and our volunteer team has done an amazing job organizing and distributing thousands of pounds of food this year. In October, we had our busiest month since the program began 14 months ago, and served 911 visitors and almost 2,000 dogs and cats. Because clients who need this service are learning about it every day, our program has more than doubled in the past year. Our Pet Food Bank helps us keep more pets in homes when families experience economic hardship, reducing the numbers of pets that would be surrendered to shelters. And, our Volunteer Team is doing a fabulous job managing our expanding services!
