Our hour of rising above petty squabbles has struck, all progressive forces of this organization have the ultimate responsibility to see this movement through this phase and stand firm in contributing towards its rebuilding process. Some have indeed made it their responsibility to stand on the sidelines with the enemies of our revolution, daily measuring our perceived strength as invented in news room and through social media, this former cadres as I proclaim seeks nothing else but to swell the public opinion which seeks to reduce the over whelming support the revolutionary alliance is still enjoying. As we move South Africa forward, they will seek to distract us, they will tell us daily that the organisation we are part of is weak, don’t enjoy any popular support, this we must reject with contempt. They will seek to label us as supporters of the PRESIDENT but who else are we suppose to support if we can’t support a leader of our own organization? Which organization are we suppose to be loyal to if it can’t be the African national congress, are we expected to defy our very own oath of office in pursuit of pleasing our detractors? As we move South Africa forward we must isolate those who claim to love this movement whilst on daily basis they embrace insults hailed against the ANC on facebook and other social media platforms, if indeed they are revolutionaries as they continue to claim, we are challenging them to be the defenders of this movement they claim to so dearly love, the pain cosatu is going through let it not be a point of rally for their gossips, instead let them be the first to assist in sowing the revolutionary peace we are yearning. Let us swell social media platforms in defense of our quest to move south Africa forward. Let us embrace our mobilization machinery, motho mothong ,man to man,each member of the ANC youth league is an organizer, a commissar and an educator, we remain the chief volunteers of the ANC in line with the discipline of the late Moses Kotane and other revolutionaries. As the Branch task team, our immediate task to rebuild the branch whilst at the very same time working towards the victory of the ANC on the 07 may 2014, I am calling all progressive comrades to be part of this journey and mobilize daily for our victory.
