Our joint birthday lunch (comes in the middle of both our birthdays), bubbles with asparagus, smoked king prawns from Maximus at Friday St Farm shop with home made agro dolce sauce, followed by pot roasted guinea fowl from The Wild Meat Co. at Snape Farmers Market today cooked on a bed of red onion, mushroom and bacon with herbs and red wine. Wild mushroom ravioli with black truffle oil over and own leaves tossed salad. Our friends brought Wigmore cheese and we had Suffolk blue and Suffolk brie. Finished with Alder Tree raspberry ice cream. Waitrose hazelnut ice cream and after that a few cherries. Had with a tolerable claret and something else! Only another 4 days of the birthday season!
