Our niece Desiree passed away yesterday at such a young age. Although I know she is in Gods arms and with her Grandma Paula, her baby needs her and thats what is the hardest to digest as a mother. Seeing the love people had for her is overwhelming and reading all the posts and pictures is so very sad. I hope she knew. She has been through many obstacles and always tried so hard to fight through them all. The last time I saw her was about 2 years ago. She wanted to work for her Uncle. We left at 6:00 am and she showed up 15 minutes early with a smile on her face. She spotted her Grandmas picture in our living room and shed some tears that morning and told me she really missed her a lot. Her and I drove to Pleasanton together and I remember she was so happy and chatty with never a dull moment. We had a great conversation about life and she was beaming with joy telling me all about the new guy she met. She worked her tail off and never ever once complained about the 100 degrees weather she worked in. She always had the brightest smile, beaming brown eyes and that laugh that made you laugh just hearing her laugh:) She wanted nothing more than to be around all of her family and when everyone would come together she lit up with smiles and laughter. She was a natural in martial arts and she trained for several years with dedication and loved nothing more than to jump in the ring and turn it up. I remember watching her many times at tournaments and thinking, she is a bad @ss. The girl was on fire in the ring and made us all so proud, especially her dad and uncles who were always cheering her on. Hug your children extra tight and cherish the memories always and forever as you never know when it will be the last. I cant imagine the pain her mom feels. RIP Desiree❤
