Out of the Box Fashion Show-MediLodge of Montrose How do you top a fashion show? You make it an Out of the Box Fashion Show! The staff and lodgers enjoyed this event so much! They lined the room to see our staff ‘models’ parade down the red carpet in their specialty outfits. We had a fun and pun-filled script that our Wellness Executive, Shea, used to emcee our event. Modeled outfits included crop pants with fruit and vegetables (crops) attached to them, brushed denim jeans covered in hairbrushes paired with a turtleneck with turtles on it, and a cotton dress artfully appliqued with cotton balls (Lisa, Activities). No ladies clothing line would be complete without dresses. We saw a lovely print dress covered in newspaper headlines (Melissa, concierge), a checked dress with paychecks attached (Heather, Activities), and a stunning tea dress complete with tea bags (Suzette, HR). Our next dress was for the more… thrifty ladies and was the bag lady dress covered with brown lunch sacks (Mary Ann, reception)! Don’t miss the picture of Cindy D. from Activities wearing the exclusive teddy from our lingerie collection. Mike from MDS looks very athletic in his Slim Jim shorts, perfect for a day at the gym. And if you are headed to the beach soon, check out the bathing suit modeled by Greg, CNA. We also enjoyed the seersucker dress covered by candy suckers modeled by Christine from Central Supply. Pam from reception was the bell of the ball in her ball gown covered in balls. Troy, our Maintenance Coordinator, was kind enough to model the men’s dinner jacket-can you see why? Our Wellness Coordinator, Laura, cheerfully modeled her new dime-ond ring. We were delighted with the huge positive response from our lodgers and the staff seemed to enjoy it just as much as the lodgers! Thank you to all of our models for being such good sports and for the teamwork by the Activities and Wellness teams to do all the preparation so that we could produce such an amazing show!
