Over this last 3 years and more so the last 2 weeks since completely the 2nd TBM course I have enjoyed the chance to practice one of the fun tools that may confuse folks a little bit. As with all these system: NIS (NeuroLink), TBM, and in part CST "muscle testing" is a key tool that opens many avenues to investigate the under laying patterns that may have lead to the illness, allergies, and stress a client is experiencing. The term "Muscle Testing" is actually a bit of a misnomer. Because while a muscle response is used it is not the strength of that given muscle that is being evaluated. The actual part that is being "tested" is a sensory stimulus loop. Much like testing any circuit, if there is a disruption in any part of that circuit the end result will be a failure. In our bodies the muscle circuit will fail to receive the signal from our brain to maintain the muscle integrity or strength. So really it is a simple Yes / No loop. YES our brain has received the signal and that signal does not interfere with our muscle circuit, or NO the circuit is blown so we need to fix it or investigate more to find where the disruption is happening. In my TBM sessions there may be circuits that relate 1 to 1 like a signal point of contact, many times which happens to be an acupuncture point. There may also be a complex pattern of contacts that make up the circuit or even structural circuits that help to evaluate illness, pain, emotional stress ect that each client is experiencing. So if you or a friend has questions or concerns about this amazing tool remember it is only giving me or your practitioner in site into that sensory loop, Yes or No.
