PART ONE OF THE SEVENTH LAW OF SPIRITUAL SUCCESS IS CULTIVATE YOUR SOUL.Worship is the first law of the soul.If it is not cultivated,it will degenerate and die.Success comes when God and man team up.Though God designed the soul but it requires care and husbandry on the part of the human being who possesses it if it is to grow and develop in the way it should. When the soul is neglected,we experience all kinds of problems:obsessions, addictions, loss of meaning and emotional pain.Caring for our soul,we can find relief from our distress and discover deep satisfaction and pleasure in life. The soul is not something tangible like a hand or a foot.It cannot be weighed, seen or analyzed in a laboratory. The soul is a mystery The soul is not meant to be understood but entered into.It is immorta, says Scripture. Our soul will live on forever in either heaven or hell, depending on our relationship to Jesus Christ. Our soul is meant to feel. You cannot disown your soul without serious emotional consequences. The soul fits into the kingdom of God like a hand fits into a glove. It was made by God and for God and will not reach its highest potential until it is at home with God.BUT OUR SOULS HAS BEEN INFECTED AND AFFLICTED WITH A DISEASE CALLED SIN. What God has formed, sin has deformed. That is the tragic doctrine of the fall.Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul rather be afraid of the One who can destroy both the soul and body in hell.Salvation is more than just the forgiveness of sins.Salvation in the broadest sense is salvation from the downward bias of the soul.It takes the whole process of rescue from the power of sin and selfishness that goes on all the time in our lives;the power that brings us down, lowering us,blinding us,searing conscience, paralysing the will. The antidote to counteract this law of degeneration is the law of cultivation which will stop this downward drift in the soul and make it work the other way.(to be continued)
