PDU-UK looks very good, but those drivers in a Union for the protection it gives will still need to stay with that Union. For £30.00pa I cannot see it supplying a Barrister free of charge to a member in need. But the principle is a way forward and I can see a large membership on the horizon but it is very expensive to train good representatives to cover all aspects of the employment law and law surrounding the professional driver.
