PEACEFUL SABBATH/SHABBAT SHALOM! Whether Jew or Gentile (Rom. 2:9-10), how do we habitually render homage to the CREATOR of the Universe: JESUS CHRIST/YESHUA HAMASHIACH? Answer: By divine ordinance, we rest each and every 7th-day Sabbath (Holy Time), as a means of rendering homage to the CREATOR of the Universe, WHO memorialized HIS creative handiwork at the institution of HIS 7th-day Sabbath. Enjoy it, as by way of HIS divine authority, GOD established two perfect institutions at creation: the 7th-day Sabbath and proper Marriage —Gen. 2:2-3, 18-24. Citing (COL) Christs Object Lessons p. 25 par. 1 Christ’s purpose in parable teaching was in direct line with the purpose of the [7th-day] Sabbath. God gave to men the memorial of His creative power, that they might discern Him in the works of His hand. The [7th-day] Sabbath bids us behold in His created works the glory of the Creator. And it was because He desired us to do this that Jesus bound up His precious lessons with the beauty of natural things. On the holy rest day, above all other days, we should study the messages that God has written for us in nature. We should study the Saviour’s parables where He spoke them, in the fields and groves, under the open sky, among the grass and flowers.
