PLEASE, mark your calendars for our next meeting of the Maine Coalition for Housing and Quality Services Monday, 8/11 from 11:45-2pm. Our featured speaker will be Congressman Michael Michaud. As a Member of Congress and as a Gubernatorial Candidate, the Congressman will be providing his insight on housing and services for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Also featured will be Jim Martin, Associate Director, DHHS Office of Aging and Disability Services. Jim’s topic will be How Services Will Work: A Global Overview of the New Service Structure. Please note that the speaking portion of this meeting will begin AT NOON, 15 minutes earlier than usual to accommodate Congressman Michaud’s schedule.
