POSSIBLE SCAM TO BVU CUSTOMERS: Today, we were informed that customers have received phone calls stating that BVU work orders require employee access to customer homes. The caller refused to give his/her name and insisted that the customer allow access to his home. There may be times when BVU/OptiNet service technicians may request access to your property. However, our local employees will always identify themselves and arrive in a BVU/OptiNet branded vehicle. Validity of any appointments can be verified by calling 866-835-1288. If you feel that you are being targeted by this scam, please make note of the calling phone number, date and time, and report the suspicious activity to your local police department and BVU.
