POSTED BY: CHRISTY WILKINS 2 Corinthians 4:18 “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” Well folks, can I tell us? Don’t center our attention on what we can see in this natural, materialistic world… Everything we see is temporal and subject to change… So, we MUST put our faith in the unseen eternal world… The things which are eternal will NOT change… God’s word is eternal and contains tons of promises to cover any circumstance we’ll ever face. And, no matter what happens in this constantly shifting and changing world we live in, those promises will forever be the same…. No matter how bad our body feels, the Word will always say, “By His stripes you were healed” (1 Peter 2:24). No matter how bad our finances look, the Word will always say, “My God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Phillippians 4:19). Please don’t settle for the temporal existence of what the world has to offer and tells us that we can have… But we MUST center our attention on the eternal truths of God and look not to the things which are seen… After all, It’s our soul that is at stake!!!!!!
