PRESIDENTS NOTE.......... Hi All, Well the new season got off to a great start with nice weather and a lot of new faces which was really good to see. We had 6 blocks in the open and 3 blocks for juniors so competitor numbers were great. Some very nice pay cheques were won on Saturday night with the Opens paying out 3 places and the Juniors paying out 2 places. There were so many great runs over the weekend with Lou Kimber coming from down from Chinchilla winning 1st Division on both days and fastest run of the weekend was taken out by Kellie Webb on Packen Six. Our juniors are on fire this weekend putting together some fast times. Special mention goes to Lachlan Beel who went home a very happy boy as he won enough money to buy himself a pig!! If the weekend was an indication of the upcoming year, 2014 is going to be an awesome year. Thank you very much to everyone that helped on the weekend. Remember NBHA is everyones club and we are all there to enjoy ourselves and have fun which was obvious on the weekend. We have been very lucky to have Hygain Feed come on board as a sponsor this year and bags of feed where given out over the weekend to some very lucky competitors. Please remember to check the calendar on our website (nbha.au) for upcoming events that count toward NBHA Australia Inc area/district awards as well as our All Districts End of Year awards. Have a great couple weeks and we hope to see you all Friday 7th February at Caboolture Indoor Arena with a minimum point event starting at 7.30pm. Woodford double minimum point events will be on Saturday 8th February starting at 8.00am. If you would like any one on one help or pointers with either you or your horse please speak to one of the Management Committee and we will arrange a time earlier in the day of our Caboolture events to spend some time with you.
