PROGRAM NOTICE Join Oliver Pyatt Centers for “Stories of Survival: Jewish Culture, Eating Disorders, and the Children of Holocaust Survivors”, Wednesday, November 13th from 6:00 to 9:00pm at the Sonesta Bayfront Hotel in Miami, Florida. The event will feature Founder and Executive Director Wendy Oliver-Pyatt, MD, FAED, CEDS; Director of Outpatient Services Melissa Spann, PhD; Primary Therapist Debbie Marton, PsyD; and special guest Johanna Kandel, Founder and CEO, The Alliance For Eating Disorders Awareness, and author of “Life Beyond Your Eating Disorder.” Through this unique integrative presentation, we will examine the intersection of eating disorders and the Jewish community. Particular focus will be on the impact of transgenerational trauma in the development of eating disorders.
