PSE&G North East Grid Electric Transmission Reliability Project Traffic Advisory (Grand & Monmouth) Hello, Weather permitting, construction of the PSE&G North East Grid (NE Grid) Electric Transmission Reliability Project will resume tomorrow. This segment of the NE Grid is part of an 18.5 mile underground electric transmission circuit, pseg/family/pseandg/powerline/reliability_projects/northeast/index.jsp. PSE&G crews will excavate test pits near the intersection of Grand & Monmouth. Two-way traffic will be maintained on Grand Street. We anticipate that Monmouth will be closed at Grand when a test pit is being excavated on the north side of Grand. Emergency vehicles will have access.
