PSEF teacher’s honorarium goes electronic Governor Ruth Padilla personally handed the TIN, Philhealth ID cards, and Landbank Automated Teller Machine (ATM)cards to 215 Provincial Special Education Fund (PSEF)teachers of the province during a ceremonial turn over last March 7 at the Ammungan Hall, Capitol compound this province. The new system of depositing and withdrawing money through the use of ATM cards is in response to the predicaments of PSEF teachers in receiving their honoraria wherein teachers used to withdraw the money in the Provincial Capitol causing risks and inconvenience to the teachers. ‘‘Last year, we saw your plight, not only on the difficult process of receiving your honoraria, but also on the difficulty of having a low honoraria, so we all agreed during the Provincial School Board (PSB) meeting that from P6, 000, we will increase it to P10, 000 starting 2014,’’ said Governor Padilla. Honoraria for the month of January were also distributed in cash, while succeeding months will be deposited to their accounts. ‘‘I would also like to express our gratitude to the Provincial Government for choosing to collaborate with Landbank in helping our PSEF teachers conveniently receive their honoraria,’’ said Landabank Manager Lorenzo Saquing. In order to extend wider service to cardholders, Lorenzo assured additional ATMs at strategic locations in Bagabag, Solano, Veterans Regional Hospital (VRH), Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Hospital (NVPH) and Sta. Fe. # krizel
