Parents of some of the school girls kidnapped by Boko Haram in Chibok, Borno State, Nigeria. (CC/ VOA) ABUJA, Nigeria, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Boko Haram kidnapped at least 30 boys and girls from the town of Mafa in Nigerias northeastern Borno State over the weekend. Mafa local government chairman Shettima Maina said the abducted included boys who were at least 13 years old and girls aged 11 and up. They took them away to their base in the bush, said Maina, and we believe they are going to use them as foot soldiers. Boko Harams relentless raids and abductions have prompted many to flee to the Borno state capital, Maiduguri, noted Mafas local chief, Mallam Ashiekh Mustapha. The latest attack further erodes hope in a government-announced cease-fire with Boko Haram that reportedly included a promise by the militant group to release more than 200 schoolgirls abducted in April. What do think about Goodluck negotiation with boko haram?
