Part 46 – When was Jesus crucified? He was crucified on a Thursday. The year was 1 BC. The date was 08-17. Here is the schedule: Thursday, 1 BC 08-17, 3760 Av 30, Preparation Day, Jesus was crucified and died, and was buried before sundown; Friday, 1 BC 08-18, 3760 Elul 1, high sabbath (John 19:31), New Moon Festival, first night and day of Jesus in the sepulcher, shops closed; Saturday, 1 BC 08-19, 3760 Elul 2, regular weekly sabbath, second night and day of Jesus in the sepulcher, shops closed; Sunday, 1 BC 08-20, 3760 Elul 3, sabbath of the followers of Jesus, third night and day of Jesus in the sepulcher, shops opened; Monday, 1 BC 08-21, 3760 Elul 4, resurrection and discovery of the missing body of Jesus, shops opened. He was arrested at the Garden of Gethsemane on 1 BC 08-01, 3760 Av 14. He was not crucified on the day of His arrest because the Jewish authorities were afraid that there might be a riot of the people during the weeklong Passover Festival. So He was incarcerated and scourged in the meantime. When the Festival was finished, they let the pilgrims to Jerusalem to leave. Then a week later, they led Jesus out to be crucified at Golgotha or Calvary. The date 08-17 was given by the spirit of Ama. I checked it out from 1999 to 2003 and found it to be correct and true in my study, the results of which are in aristean.org/crucifyidx.htm for your perusal. You may see Part 45 as well.
