Part one. #ALS #ICEBUCKETCHALLENGE at Edges we truly believe that any cause is a great cause and whenever we have the opportunity given to us to support and bring awareness we do just that. Every charity and every organization gets a turn in the spotlight and this time the spotlight is on ALS. Our team has excepted the challenge and not only are they participating in the ice bucket challenge but they are also making a cash donation. We have decided to donate the money to an individual who is affected by ALS and we will reveal her name and her story this week. It doesnt matter how you contribute its the thought that counts. Creating awareness to something that we may or may not have known about before these past few weeks is what matters the most in the end. We pray to God that they find a cure or a treatment for this horrific disease, and all other diseases. If we feel numb for only a few minutes while the ice hits our body imagine what they have to deal with for months or years loosing control and feeling of their entire body. On a side note, We also pray for the countries who need water and food, peace not war, homes not shelters, jobs not poverty, and just simply living in a clean normal society, The list goes on and on, there are hundreds and hundreds of organizations that we could help and the list is endless , just be grateful that youre able to do something small in a big picture no matter what it is or what its for. These past few weeks we have all shown how the world can come together to make a difference and thats what its all about. God bless everyone.
