Passenger Appreciation about Southern Railway Respected sir, I am extremely impressed with cleanliness of platform at Thrissur, Kannur and others I saw on my journey from Mangalore to Thrissur. Heartiest congrats for maintaining such high standards. However it was unpleasant to see that flush were not working in toilets which were otherwise absolutely clean. I told TTE but he was helpless in running train. I wish to submit few suggestions for instant redressal of such problems in moving train. 1. Some mob no. To be displayed in coaches for sending SMS or call. Caller to give details of problem with his pnr, seat no etc. Centralised control room should pass the appropriate orders to station to be approached by train. An acknowledgment of sms or call be sent to passengers. I think SCRailway is doing this (SMS to be sent to 8121281212). 2. Whats up may be used for instant forwarding to photographs of problem or even appreciation. Photographs of coaches and platforms were worth forwarding. 3. Online platform similar to mygov.in may be launched to connect people directly to higher officials. Besides, I want to share with u that yesterday I insisted a fellow passenger to clean the rubbish he left on berth after meals. I felt very satisfied after that. I thinkswachh Bharat is working. However lot has to be done. Regards sir, I couldnt resist sharing my thoughts with u. It might already be working but people are not aware of it.
