Pastor Gary Edwards presents to us a Gospel rich, worshipful, thought, heart and soul provoking message through Psalm 119: 25-32. King David found himself in the dust, face down, battling with his flesh, but longed to walk upright in the Lord. How often have we the Church found ourself in this position, reflecting on how we could have avoided certain mistakes, hurt and damage caused by our sin, if only we took the word of God for what it is? A challenging word from Gary concerning the heart, soul and mouth, encouraging our serving from the truth of the word of God, in the Joy of the Lord by the blessings we have already received in Him. True Joy is In God alone, and displayed as the fruit of the Spirit, and spurs us to walk in a manner pleasing unto God, though liberated by the Grace that we have been given yet not abusing that Grace to antinominism or laying it aside to legalism. Christ fulfils for us in His Gospel the ability to look at the law in a worshipful application out of gratitude towards Him for the good He Has displayed and revealed to us through His Gospel and word. - Martin Jordan
