Paul Czainski has been out and about in Staithes again. Everyone in the village is loving these amazing images as they appear in the nooks and crannies of Staithes. You have to keep your eyes peeled though or you might miss them. The lovely joyful relief carving of Noahs Ark on a garage beam is very subtle indeed - but once youve seen it you can hardly believe your eyes! Paul got the image for the fossilised deer from the Pannett Museum in Whitby. They dont call this the Dinosaur Coast for nothing.... and Pauls painting is so convincing youll think youre seeing the real thing! Paul has one more painting to do before we launch the Illusion Trail at Staithes Festival of Arts and Heritage on 13th and 14th September.
