People sometimes ask why I am so passionate about progressive politics, heres a prime example. On Nov. 4th Gov. Snyder won reelection and retained control of both houses. Aramark, which was given a contract for the prison food system from Snyder, decided to cut way back on the food they feed the prisoners starting Nov. 5th. On the 8th, the food deprived prisoners at my Dads facility rioted and took control of the yard and demanded to speak to the warden about the food. Putting my Dad as well as every other prison employee in danger. Now today, My dad again has to stay at work because the prisoners are up in arms, some are killing themselves, while others are refusing to help serve the food. Republicans put prison food service into their millionaire buddys hands and as a result I now have to fear for my Dads safety at work. Something I wouldnt have to do as much had Democrats won. Wake up Michigan voters, what the hell are you doing?
