Perhaps what we need in Romblon is a public access channel where we can see the inner workings of our local governments through cable TV to learn the issues and challenges of our day and gain an understanding of how our representatives in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and Sagguniang Bayan do the work of the people. What better way to know who our leaders truly are, how they deliberate, how they think, how they negotiate for the best interest of the people and if they deserve our vote after all. If we are truly interested in transparency and developing a dialogue between our elected officials and their constituents then we will pursue this initiative. Who can say no?
