PhD research scholarship in seismic interpretation for basin analysis and petroleum assessment at Department of Petroleum Engineering and Applied Geophysics, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Application deadline: 15th of August 2013. The fellowship is within applied geophysics for basin scale analysis and assessment of petroleum resources. Main research areas are basin development, large scale earth models, basin classification and hydrocarbon potential assessment. Applicants must hold a M.Sc. degree or equivalent within geophysics or geology and must qualify for PhD study at NTNU. A good background in seismic interpretation is requested.
