(Pics didnt post earlier.) Driving through Nairobi, headed to Narok. Entering the Rift Valley (FYI- Gold Peak iced Tea is made here.) So many sights, sounds and smells. Loving every moment of it- ESPECIALLY practicing up on my KiSwahili skills! Hahaha. We arrived at Girls Camp after having a totally blown out tire (along the dark highway). The girls (about 37, but more arriving tomorrow) were waiting outside in the dark night. When our headlights flashed over them they started singing and dancing. As we exited the van we were absolutely accosted by girls hugging us and welcoming us. It was the BEST greeting I think I have ever received!! Ever. Lol. We had an official greeting and introduction (see pic). Then are dinner (we were all very hungry. They had waited for us!). Then we hung out for a little while before coming to hotel. What an awesome- AWESOME!!! and blessed start to this trip. Looking forward to seeing what sort of ways we can be a blessing to these girls, their families and everyone else we meet along the way.
