Piping Estimator - Chemic Engineers Job ID: 4693 Hours per Week: 40 Wages: Negotiable *Job Description: RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Coordinates with vendors, customers, and company personnel to review and plan for the specific details of each project. Prepares disciplined estimates by calculating complete take-off of scope of work; Knowledge of estimating techniques and strategies Estimates all assigned projects, ensuring that take-offs, labor factors and material pricing is accurate. Helps determine general conditions, fabrication costs, crew rates, etc. Calls for special material pricing, equipment quotes, and subcontractor quotes as necessary to support an estimate with current cost information; *Qualifications: Strong Math and analytical skills. Maintains a value added approach to all estimates and presentations. Makes recommendations on value engineering items that could reduce price Knowledgeable with scheduling software’s such as Primavera or MS Project Softwares- Aspen In-Plant Estimator or Aspen Capital Cost Estimator.
