Pixus Digital Printing took part in an “Ice Bucket Challenge” today in support of ALS awareness. Employee David Comeaux began today’s challenge by getting soaked with a 48 quart chest filled with ice and water. Afterwards, Comeaux immediately challenged sales manager Mike Latiolais to do the same. The event was captured on film and is scheduled to air on the KATC TV3 news. Pixus Digital’s owner Todd Landry announced that a donation of $750 had been made to the Steve Gleason Foundation for ALS on behalf of Pixus 20 plus full time employees. In addition, he is challenging other local businesses to take the “Ice Bucket Challenge” for ALS awareness. The Gleason Foundation Mission is to help provide individuals with neuromuscular diseases or injuries with leading edge technology, equipment and services.
