Part 4 So When I begin working with a client...There is a strong psychology and a lot of listening and asking questions to get to know my clients. In this one....I am preparing a mood board of a large house and for a retired husband and wife. The wife grew up in the posh part of Georgia and the husband from the well-to-do area by the oceans in Main. The wife is Luxury and Classy southern belle. The husband is a mans man who love the beach and the sound of surf. So they retired and run their large business from Hua Hin in Thailand. Ive spent a week talking and meeting with them, Having coffee, going out to dinner. A few days were one on one with the wife and then, the husband...I had a good bio of who they were and are. While they respect and love each other tremendously, they have their own memories and personalities. It is our jobs as designers to help hem balance that in a design so they are both at home. In this series of almost 400 images...I preparing a balance of what I like in terms of product, their individual personalities and a harmony that will bring good vibes into the retirement years. These images represent that individualism, my tastes as a designer and getting them both on track before I begin the actual design. In all these image there is a balance only I know about...but you should be able to see. In the end this will be reduced and I will have a strong foundation for a good design. Please enjoy.
