A summary of currrent incidents are Seddon road Waitoa, tree down Awaiti Road Netherton Hauraki, tree down PekaPeka rd Netherton, tree down Kopu Hikuai Rd Kopu, Thames, Rock slide SH26 Te Aroha, Tree down Ngarua Rd Waitoa, Tree down SH26 Morrinsville, tree debri SH26 Komata, Hauraki, power pole down SH26 Hikutaia, Tree down Waingaro Rd Ngaruwahia, Tree down Hauraki Rd Turua, Tree down Puke Rd Paeroa, Tree down Parawai Rd Thames, Tree down Puarangi Rd Purangi Thames, Tree closes entire rd A yacht has broken its moorings at south thames and it is too dangerous to reach. Tainui Rd Matamata, lots of trees down Driving Creek rd Coromandel, Trees down on corners Old Waitekauri Rd Waikina, Trees blocking rd Trig rd Waihi, tree down Police are regularly receiving updates from Metservice and it seems likely winds are increasing. Police and emergency services will endeavour to attend all serious incidents but with the volume of incidents reported Police council and emergency services cannot get to every event. Police advise people within areas affected from the weather to stay safe inside and wait for weather to subside. We do not want people putting themselves at unnecessary risk.
