Prayer for Mercy:...... Help me develop a merciful attitude. I want to show others the same mercy and undeserved kindness that You show to me. I have my own weaknesses, and I want to be able to understand when other people make mistakes and need mercy and forgiveness. Sometimes it is easy for me to judge and have critical opinions about people who make mistakes. Lord, You extend mercy to everyone because all people are equally important to You. As Your representative on this earth, I desire to do the same thing. Please help me to be merciful to everyone. The next time someone mistreats me, I will try to be understanding and remember that gentle words turn away wrath. Having an understanding heart is one of the beautiful characteristics of mercy. Let it begin with me. In Jesus name, Amen.
