Press On Dwelling With His Holy Spirit God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. (Hebrews 2:4) Pressing on with God promotes a deeper relationship with Him. An honest loving relationship of mutual give and take. Complementary giving and receiving. A love exchange in the highest form through communication and obedience. As we trust with steadfast faith, we rise up strong and courageous with our Rock, our Lord. As we continue on in His name according to His guidance and direction, He blesses us with His Spirit. As we humbly continue to listen with willingness to obey, God does send confirmation of His messages through His Spirit. Our advocate, our helper, and our lifeline. We must disown the tyrannical rule of our own self-centeredness. By laying aside our striving for advantage, security, and pleasure, we can serve God lovingly and freely. Releasing control of our lives and transferring control to Christ, through the Trinity, brings eternal life and genuine joy. Do you cling to your joy in Him no matter the circumstance? Is your trust so solid your determination to press on is firmly fixed and unshakable? Is His purpose for you, your first priority? Any trial a believer faces can ultimately bring glory to God because God can bring good out of any situation. When trouble comes, do you grumble, complain, and blame God, or do you see your problems as an opportunity to honor Him? Do you allow His hope and peace to embrace you? May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13) We must daily ask for His Spirit, If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” (Luke 11:13) Our relationship with the Holy Spirit is our light to guide our path. Our advocate in time of need and our compass when we are loosing our way. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. (John 12:26) As we press on to victory, our fellowship with the His Spirit is our foundation to walking in His will, His purpose, His individual plan for us. Get to know Him! Always talk with Him, attentively listen to Him, and yes, then whole heartedly obey Him as He leads. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (2 Corinthians 13:14) Victory awaits those who press on with His Holy Spirit.
