Professional Firefighters from the MFB were kept busy again last - TopicsExpress

Professional Firefighters from the MFB were kept busy again last night. Early in the evening, Firefighters attended two separate multi vehicle accidents on the Eastern Freeway at the same time. One near Chandler Hwy pictured below and one near Burke Rd. Firefighters were able to make both scenes safe for motorists. Firefighters also battled two suspicious fires targeting unoccupied houses in Melbournes Braybrook overnight. In the first fire, a house with a for sale sign went up in flames on Ballarat Road at Footscray shortly before 11pm. At approximately 2am, a vacant weatherboard house about one kilometre away in Balmoral Street at Braybrook was severely damaged by fire. In both cases, Firefighters were able to save adjoining properties by limiting the spread of fire. Well done to the C platoon MFB Professional Firefighters.
