Project hallways●Project doorways●Piss all over the project floor●Step in the project elevator and its piss galore●Strung out dopeheads in the project lobby●Smoking weed in the project stairwell is a project hobby●In Red Hook Projects at the age of 16 is where they robbed me●Sometimes I regret not fighting back but if I did would I be dead now???? Probably●Project girls get pregnant almost instantly every Fall and winter●Project nights at the table equals Hot dogs and porkn beans or Chinese food for dinner●Project front entrances are filled with young black men cursing while their pants hang off their ass●If youre lost in the projects and need guidance out dont bother to ask●Depending on what projects youre in those words could be your last●Rats the size of cats play near the project trash●Roaches run up and down the project walls●Shooting hoops in jail is the same as playing project basketball●Unless youre bleeding dont bother to call foul●More then 80% of the kids in the projects grow up as a fatherless child●Shots are fired and many innocent folks become victims to project gun fights●Many folks wake up in the projects but dont make it to see the following day of sunlight●Sad case●Can you see the projects when you look in my face?●Of course you can●Even though project living was never in my plans●But here I am.... IN DA PROJECTS!!!
