Psalm 121:1-2 I look up toward the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth! This is a metaphor that speaks to the faithfulness of our Lord God. When we look to our futures, we see only in part, yet we have the knowledge that God knows in fullness, and He battles on our behalf! Our help through whatever may come is assured in Christ Jesus, and we are to courageously live according to that truth! Listen, we do not serve a God that may forget to show up, or that mistakes friend for foe. We serve the all-powerful, sovereign, amazing God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the One who orchestrated our salvation through His Son Jesus. We are perfectly known, and loved!
