Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His names sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.... Heavenly Father, thank You for this day. I thank You that You are my Redeemer, my Keeper, my Great Shepherd. I thank You that I am of Your fold as a sheep, under Your tender, skillful, and watchful eye. I am blessed with the green pastures of Your word. Your holy consolation leads me to still waters which flow from the living fountain of Christ, His righteousness and peace. You guide me through the valley of the shadow of affliction and death, and lead me safely to the other side. You anoint my head, so the evil one cannot harm me. You fill my cup of salvation, and keep me satisfied with the blessings of Your house. Goodness and mercy will follow me all my days. I am Your beloved, and You are mine. In the name of Jesus, amen.
