Psalms 34: 18 YaHuWaH is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Psalms 51: 16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it; thou delightest not in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. 18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion; build thou the walls of Jerusalem. 19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering; then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar. Psalms 66: 1 Thus saith YaHuWaH, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool; where is the house that ye build unto me; and where is the place of my rest? 2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord; but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. 3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dogs neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swines blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. 3 Nephi 5: 49 And ye shall offer up unto me no more the shedding of blood; yea, your sacrifices and your burnt offerings shall be done away, for I will accept none of your sacrifices and your burnt offerings; and ye shall offer for a sacrifice unto me a broken heart and a contrite spirit. 50 And whoso cometh unto me with a broken heart and a contrite spirit, him will I baptize with fire and with the Holy Ghost, even as the Lamanites, because of their faith in me, at the time of their conversion, were baptized with fire and with the Holy Ghost, and they knew it not. Ezekiel 44: 15 But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith YaHuWaH God; Ezekiel 48: 11 It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept my charge, which went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.
