Psalms 97-100 Remembering and forgetting. Why are graves marked with headstones? In part because the Bible said mark events with stones of remembrance. It is a way to remind ourselves of the people we love. Many of the headstones in old cemeteries around Boston are marked with a skull or a skull with wings. The reason is the markers with wings are those of believers and the ones without wings were not believers. The images on the stones remind everyone that see them that death comes to all men but only those who believe in Christ are freed from death. Do you want to be free from death? All you have to do is ask God to come into your life and free you from this body of sin and death. Please share with a friend
