Question from a #boymom: Ladies, lets give this mom some words of encouragement and wisdom for how to help her friend. My best friend just called me in tears and I have no advice for her other than Ill pray... Here is her concern/question: Im on the verge of divorce, my husband is not a believer and is emotionally and verbally abusive- I took vows and want to stand by them- I know God is the only way this marriage will survive- but all of the chaos and fighting at home is affecting my 4yr old son. I work full time to support my family and I am also in school- What time I do have with my boy, I make quality time; we do crafts, bake, play games etc. So he knows hes important to me and I will always make time for him- BUT he is beginning to act out at school and on his preschool bus/van trip and he laughs when they try to correct him. Hes bullying and hitting others and I feel Im failing him because he wont talk to me about whats going on and I have no support from his father. How do I reach him and help him work through all he is hearing/seeing at home and teach him not to act out aggressively to peers?
