Questionable billing practices at Bubba Gumps. Large group of us. Issues were Cheese burger brought out very rare when I asked them to burn it to well done and the clam chowder tasted terrible and wasnt eaten. Manager comes out and fixes my burger and says he will remove it from the bill since I have to wait for another to be cooked which was nice of him. Clam chowder person said she wanted a cheese burger just like mine instead of the clam chowder. We two wait while everyone eats and have conversations which is fine. Burgers come out and manager says he took off clam chowder and one cheese burgers. Pay bill and get home and notice one burger was billed at 9$ and another was billed at $20? We both just had plain no fluff cheese burgers and plain fries so why is one $9 and why is one over $20? Clam chowder which u can see was billed at $14 but at bottom it says didnt like taste of item was $7 removed from bill. Clam chowder did not come with any side dishes. Just the bowl of soup? I have a shellfish allergy so that is why I had a cheese burger but everyone enjoyed their sea food otherwise and Vanessa was cool waitress and stopped when we flashed Stop Forrest Stop. Nice night but the manager made himself to seem like he was being overly generous gester to us for taking off my burger but in reality he way upcharging me on another items and did not take off what he said he was. The amounts are not important to me, it is just that I took the mans word. I hope this was just two mistakes and wasnt intentional. #CheckOverReceiptBeforeYouPay but hard to do with large group and ur having great converstion that u have to stop to audit and itemize receipt. Anyone else ever see same issue at this resturant? $20 for a plain cheese burger when the Crablegs and shrimp bucket is way cheaper? Weird!
