R.I.P big Bank Hank. This week we lost one of the greats, one of the originators of hip hop, one of the sugar Hill gang, who are largely responsible for hip Hops spread Into popular culture. Their 1980 album rappers delight has some great tracks, but whats interesting is the way the album bridges the gap from disco to rap. Some great party and dancing vibes in there. So I decided to post this track rather than rappers delight or apache because I wanted to draw attention to the album. Some of the old funky disco stuff on there is awesome. Thanks Big Bank Hank, your influence and artistry travelled across the globe and effected this little aussie in his mid teens And again in his mid twenties.
